Problem
Error received while starting the server. Reason - Cannot connect to server process. Make sure that the server is already started.
upon starting server in RAD.
Possible Cause
Profile for the server is not selected.
Resolution
Make sure that correct profile for the server has been selected.
Click server and check WebSphere profile name within Server Overview -> Server. Select the correct profile.
If you can just see the default profile, set the target runtime for the deployed web project.
Select the web project which has been deployed on server. right click and select properties -> Server and then set the target runtime.
